Speciality Chemicals Plant
Projex Solutions were instrumental in supporting and enabling the delivery of our new 32,000 tpa speciality chemicals plant. Projex were engaged early in the process to supply multi-disciplinary technical support ranging from design, right through the build and installation to plant commissioning. Due to the tightly compressed delivery window and cost pressures the project was delivered in a pragmatic but non-standard manner.
The FEED was abbreviated and much of the detailed design work was completed in parallel during the install and build in order to squeeze the delivery timeframe. The Projex team demonstrated impressive flexibility and adaptability working closely with ourselves to deliver the project. The final result has exceeded expectations and is testament to the team at Projex Solutions Ltd in that they could adapt their working practices to accommodate multiple, complex and challenging customer demands whilst continuing to focus on project delivery.
Chemical Manufacturing Plant
We have a large capital expenditure program expanding our plants and it was important to collaborate with a company such as Projex Solutions to enable us to deliver our needs and requirements over the next few years. The working relationship with Projex Solutions through all different stages of a project has worked really well and we have a very strong relationship at the manager level but more importantly down at the working, engineering level. The engineers from Projex Solutions have integrated well and the feedback is good from my team. One of the benefits with working with Projex Solutions across multi-disciplinary projects is they’ve added value and have come up with new ideas through their experience working across diverse industries.
Global Chemicals Company
Projex Solutions were selected as engineering contractors for the Conceptual and Basic Engineering Phases of an expansion project on the Bradford site. This was owing to demand outstripping supply, this project offers a commercially competitive way to increase production. Our experience working with Projex Solutions on this project was very good. The project required a collaborative approach and Projex Solutions were very flexible and were able to interpret our requirements very quickly. The Concept Phase was completed on time, under budget and to the required level of quality.

The projects we were doing within our plant at Scarborough were always bespoke and we tend to find that if you use external companies like Projex Solutions they bring you fresher ideas that we sometimes overlook when we are looking internally ourselves.
Working with the team at Projex has been fantastic they are on our wavelength; they knew what we wanted but they also challenged us to actually deliver over and above what we needed.
